| Strong Holds and safehouse's are a must during a Red threat level, and possibly even Orange threat level. We need to ensure that we can control, maintain and of course expand with a lead stronghold. and create safehouse's leading up to that strongehold. Great submission add for a post by (user: Infected)

| What place would be a better? An environment where it has a low overall temperature, or a place with a high overall temperature? Cold temperatures could freeze zombies making them slower and easier to dodge/kill. Hot temperatures would make them decompose faster since they are technically the walking dead. | |

| i would say one with a better human enjoyed environment in order to help keep us better maintained and stay alert. better comfort for us would equal a better survivability rate. i have land in Hawaii. Would be a perfect fall back point and easy to maintain an island. | |

| If you have a cold environment with blew zero temperatures it could act as a natural defense against the zombies. If you were in Alaska in the tundra you would be good cause the storms would kill just about anything caught in them, and you could grow vegetation inside under UV lights. | |

| agreed it is never a good idea to stay in onc place to long. Moving locations on a regular basis is a good idea. | |

| indeed, and we could maintain a constant two headquarters at both Alaska and Hawaii, and then help create and run more branches in other states. | |

| I don't know how I would feel about being on an island. Yeah you could probably clear it of zombies once and you wouldn't have to worry about them but you are cut off like none other! You are not going to be able to connect with other survivors at all. | |

| these would be the main headquarters to keep communications up and running. and more or less like a sanctuary once we clean them up. but of course we would have other stronghold branches off in the states as well along with safehouse's leading up to the strongholds in major cities. | |

| I'm not entirely sure we have a radio that reaches from the mainland to Hawaii. I could very well be wrong though it just seems like a stretch. Even if there is one though we would have no guarantee that there's going to be someone on the other end listening... and even if there is it's highly unlikely that they will have the materials necessary to resuply us. Resuply missions from Hawaii to the mainland would be incredibly taxing on what little materials we would have. It's just not logical to me. | |

| 1. WE HAVE TETTO!
2. WE HAVE TETTO!
3. Hawaii is a very rich land, and we would have planes and or boats going back and forth between the two with survivors to the sanctuary which could bring supplies as they come on each trip. | |

| We will develop a purification system, and that would all also depend on what kind of an outbreak it is and how it spreads. | |

| in regards to warm climate vs. cold climate, i would honestly say that a place like colorado is perfect because we have both.
One of the key things about having a warmer climate is the ability to rely on agriculture for food and medicine. And as previously mentioned cold weather can act as a natural zombie deterent.
CO FTW! | |

| i definitely agree, OUR main HQ command can be in CO but we also need out sanctuaries in Hawaii and Alaska for others. while the USDZA holds down the main front in CO | |

| I will have to second the CO movement. Although USZDA Command is nestled into the foothills of the rockies, we do have direct and nearly immediate access to the remotest regions of the mountains. I know I personally have a home around 9,000 ft. Snowmobile access only. Even if the zombie filth made it out to the cabin, they will have no chance to keep up once we're on snowshoe, ski, snowmobile etc... | |

| Upon further consideration (/reminiscence on family vacations...) a great alternative would be a Cruise Ship. Get our hands on some Royal Carribean ship, stocked to the brim with supplies, food, entertainment, and lodging. The thing would be self sufficient for months. Not to mention, we could attempt to find dock on some remote island where there are no zombies... | |

| we could use the boat for transportation of survivors to Hawaii as well as remote islands that we will locate, Ni'ihau would be one of the best islands to use. Its the forbidden island in Hawaii, only locals are allowed, easy ot maintain. Or we can also search out some islands in the Bahamas of course, tropical-ness | |
