why... Why... WHY?!!?

We all know that the imminent Zombie Apocalypse could be spurred on by any number of possible sources. Be it disease, scientific shenanigans, supernatural intervention, you name it; but the goal of this thread is to discuss the intangible aspect of "Why?"

Is this punishment from above (ie. Moses's Flood)?
Is it the plotting of evil minds, bent on fucking with the order of society?
Is it purely accidental? No rhyme or reason at all...

Why? WHhhHYyYYY??

Well again those questions would all be better answered if we knew which cause created the initiation of that specific Z-Day, be it Politically created: in which case it could be becuase of a need for more power, to create a balance and show who is in charge......which we all know would fail becuase the USDZA would have to intervene, save the horrible politics from their "fail" and take control democratically.

or Science gone wrong: in which case most time would be spent protecting people and working on a cure after locating the cause.

and of course GOD: god would have to exist in order for that to be a cause (thus the lower casing of his name in this description) and even if he is, not saying im set on the fact that he isnt, but if he is.......why zombies? why not water again? would be kinda backtracking if he were to destroy his people using partially destroyed people? that would be more devil like work (if you believe in that kinda thing)

This being a Philpsophy thread, let's toy with the deeper meanings...

Do we deserve Z-Day?
Maybe god is bored of using floods...

well what constitutes deservance, do we ALL deserve that? If he feels the need to punish the "bad" will he feel the need to help the "good"? seems like it could be a fun challenge for him as apposed to a boring flood

maybe the punishment is meant for the bad... and WE of the USDZA have been placed here by the higher power to save the deserving...

Personally I dont even consider the ethics of zombies brought here supernaturally.

To me the most intriguing philosophical concept of Z-Day is that history shows that most zombies are creadted from one thought: How can we transcend death? The irony of course being that in our attempts to beat death we ultimately create our own demise...
